The Mission single storage bed is a proper solution for any bedroom that is short on space. It is a solid pine single bed frame with three built-in drawers along one side that give you a real amount of usable storage without adding a single extra piece of furniture to the room. Kids rooms, teens rooms, smaller spare rooms, and studio setups all benefit from a bed that pulls double duty like this.

The frame comes in three finishes. Waxed pine has a warm, natural tone that brings out the grain and suits more traditional or rustic bedroom styles. White is painted and clean, sitting well in modern, light, or Scandi influenced rooms. Grey sits between the two, a painted finish that is versatile enough to go with most colour schemes without committing too hard to any one style.

The headboard stands 80 cm tall and uses the classic Shaker slatted design that runs through the whole Mission range. The footboard sits low at 47 cm, which keeps the room feeling open and the bed easy to make each morning.

The three drawers sit along one side of the bed running underneath the frame. Each drawer is 44 cm deep, 51.5 cm wide, and 14 cm high. That is a good amount of room for clothes, spare bedding, or anything else that tends to take up floor space. The drawer unit can be assembled on either the left or right side of the bed, so you can set it up to suit your room layout from the start. The handles face inward so they sit flush rather than poking out, which means no catching your calves on the way in and out of bed. The opposite side of the bed has open clearance underneath.

The solid pine slatted base supports the mattress evenly and allows air to flow underneath to keep the mattress fresh over time. The bed arrives flat packed in 2 boxes with all fixings included. Assembly is required. Mattress is not included. This bed is certified to British Standard BD-93571-S2, confirming it has been independently tested and meets UK safety requirements.
